This is information that comes to us from the ESTI (Authority for the supervision and control of electrical installations) in Switzerland. The Golisi S4 battery charger used for vaping presents a risk of causing an electric shock. In collaboration with theFederal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI), the manufacturer InSmoke in Switzerland communicates and currently offers a recall of the defective product.
This is the charger with LCD screen Golisi S4. The electrical insulation is not sufficient and does not meet the requirements of the Low Voltage Electrical Equipment Ordinance and the corresponding European standard (EN 60335), written ESTI Thursday. An electric shock when touching the charger cannot be excluded.
The product recall is for chargers for e-cigarettes " Golisi S4 Smart Charger ”With LCD display, which were produced from 2018. The affected devices are marked“ Golisi S4 ”on the back of the device. Other models such as “Golisi S2” and “Golisi S6” are not affected and can be used safely without restrictions.
