UNITED STATES / UNITED KINGDOM : A study published in the Journal of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology by Fontem Ventures. The authors carefully compare the pharmacokinetic effects of the nicotine diffusion induced by a prototype electronic cigarette, a “classic” cigarette (JPS Silver King Size CC - 0.6 mg nicotine; manufacturer Imperial Tobacco Group) and a nicotine substitute (Nicorette®; inhalator 15 mg nicotine, manufacturer Johnson & Johnson; coded NIC15).
