If the Stingray or the Dos Equis still resonate in you, it is because like many vapers, you have not remained insensitive to the work of JD Tech. La Back Equis Squonker by JD Tech falls under the category of full mechanical boxes. Equipped with an 18650 battery (not supplied), it offers adequate autonomy. We easily recognize the unmistakable look of the original Dos Equis, with a welcome touch of novelty. The squonk window is not on the front, but not on the side either. JD Tech has made the small format its trademark. You probably remember, like Phileas Cloud, the Dos Equis box. This small mechanical box and its extraordinary size made more than one head spin. From the height of its 72 millimeter, the Back Equis Squonker is really small. It is simply placed as one of the smallest mechanical bottom feeder boxes on the market.
La Back Equis Squonker by JD Tech, it is the meeting between manually shaped brass and high quality aluminum. The parts are made in the USA and assembled in the Philippines. The look is elegant without being too understated. The engraving, signature of JD Tech, perfectly enhances the clean lines.
As on the Dos Equis, the "top switch" is entirely mechanical. The conductivity is thereby increased and maintenance facilitated. We should also mention the presence of degassing and contact holes in silver-plated copper. Beautiful work under the sign of efficiency and elegance. In line with the top-of-the-range Bottom Feeder boxes, between the Gloom and the Pulsar, JD Tech strikes a blow. But beware, numbered models, no more than 300 copies worldwide!
