You may not know it, but in Turkey it is illegal to sell or promote electronic cigarettes. The newspaper Daily sabah Just revealed that on Monday evening, the police raided a restaurant in Istanbul's Beyoğlu district where an e-cigarette event was taking place.

According to a report, three people rented the top floor of this restaurant Monday night to organize an event promoting the vape. The sale of electronic cigarettes being banned in Turkey, the three organizers were arrested and more than 800 guests were fined.

While the Turkish Ministry of Health has not approved the importation or consumption of e-cigarettes in countries, the illicit imports and sale of these products have been increasing in recent years.
