HELP: The association suggests sending booklets for doctors.

The electronic cigarette (also called “vape”) is now recognized as an effective tool for reducing the risks associated with smoking. The first vaping summit, which was held in the presence of many associations and professionals in the fight against smoking and the Director General of Health, resulted in a consensus for the implementation of a real risk reduction policy ( http://www.sommet-vape.fr/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/SOMMET-VAPE-160512-fr.pdf) and confirmed once again that it was undoubtedly better to vapot than to smoke.

To all vapers, you can also give this letter to your doctor so that he can benefit from these tools by contacting us at contact@aiduce.org

Information to doctors about the presentation tools of the vape

Dear colleague,

The electronic cigarette (also called "vape") is now recognized as an effective tool for reducing the risks associated with smoking[I].

As a health professional, maybe you have already been asked about this by your patients or even have you wanted to offer this alternative to tobacco but can you think you do not have the necessary information?

The Aiduce (Independent Association of Users of Electronic Cigarettes), an association of users with a scientific committee to which we wished to participate, has therefore proposed to provide you with some information tools that it publishes and that you will find with this shipment:

- the booklet on "received ideas" which analyzes the various speeches on vaping, which can raise fears or unfounded hopes in the general population. This booklet will allow you to understand the arguments that can be an obstacle to the use of electronic cigarettes by a patient,
- the booklet "all you need to know to start vaping", which can be given to your patients and which will allow them to understand the practical use of the device and e-liquids because it is certain that vaping is not as simple as smoking : it can be learned. Your patients will thus be able to calmly study the subject before launching, reassure themselves about the use of the vape and understand the issues.

Other copies of these publications can be ordered from Aiduce at contact@aiduce.org.

Finally, we recommend anyone wishing to vapotify, consult with experienced users, specialized distributors or knowledgeable practitioners for advice and explanations.

We beg you to believe, dear colleague, in our fraternal greetings.
