This is worrying information coming to us from Germany. Indeed, the German federal government is preparing to raise taxes on tobacco products but also on vaping! A real bomb because in the country, the vape could become more expensive than traditional tobacco.

If the European Commission is still in ambush with the ambition to regulate and tax vaping even more severely, some countries of the European Union have decided not to wait! This is the case of Germany which could bring out heavy artillery against tobacco, heated tobacco but above all against vaping!
A bill unveiled in the German media presents the ambition of the federal government: A fiscal measure for the month of April with an increase in taxes on tobacco and heated tobacco but above all a first tax on vaping products.
Regarding the vape, the measure in question would have the effect of spending the 10 ml bottles of nicotine liquid, currently around 5 euros, at a price of 9 euros per bottle. This new tax could bring more than 3 billion to the German state.
