In total opposition to the decision taken in France, vape shops in Belgium will have to remain closed during containment due to the Covid-19 (coronavirus) crisis. Little compensation for vapers and e-cigarette professionals, the " Click & Collect Will remain authorized during this period.
» THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD ACT AS IN FRANCE! «
In Belgium, the vaping revolt continues! According to the ministerial decree of 28/10/2020 modified on 01/11/2020, specialized vape shops are, as during the first confinement, required to remain closed because they are not considered as companies marketing " essential goods"
« The government should do as in France« , valued Patrick, co-founder of the Belgian Union for the Vape (UBV-BDB), and employee in a specialized store in the province of Liège. « You have to believe that the government likes people to start smoking again '« , he quips. « Tobacco shops are open, why not us? It's nicotine too, with fewer chemicals« , argues the boss of E-smoker, an electronic cigarette shop in Brussels.
Little consolation, since November 2 and the start of this virtual confinement, some stores have organized a system of " click & collect". Above all, it helps "save the furniture" for some of the vaping professionals.
