This news item that comes to us from Canada could send shivers down your spine. On the night of December 31, an electronic cigarette business was vandalized following a Molotov cocktail throw. Fortunately, no one was inside and only material damage is to be deplored.
MOLOTOV COCKTAIL MAKES DAMAGE IN A VAPE SHOP
In the night of December 31, smoke is out of the trade Vape Town which sells vaping products. This was obviously not due to a grouping of vapers inside but indeed to a jet of Molotov cocktail through the window.
Warned by the alarm system, the firefighters arrived at 2:45 a.m. in front of this one-story brick and steel commercial complex located at 3254, boulevard Saint-Martin Ouest, near boulevard Daniel-Johnson. Faint smoke was apparent inside the store through the hole left through the display case.
In total, 6 units of the Laval Fire Department, i.e. 19 firefighters, intervened and controlled the situation from 2:50 a.m. The fire was concentrated in the showroom at the front of the building which was unoccupied at the time of the mischief.
Flames and smoke mostly hit the counter. Damages are valued at 1000 $ for the building and 1000 $ for its contents.
