CANADA: Flavored vaping prohibited, an invitation to "denounce" offenders!

In recent days, flavored vape has been banned in New Brunswick, Canada. By making this decision, the province hopes to make vaping less appealing to young people. A health disaster to come even as the government of New Brunswick invites the population to denounce the shops that continue to sell vaping products.

“VAPING IS NOT INOFENSIVE! "

» We need to create an environment where children are not constantly exposed to vaping. And we need to support these young people who are already struggling with addiction by providing them with the resources they need to quit smoking.  Says Dorothy Shephard, New Brunswick Minister of Health.

Last fall, the Liberal opposition introduced Bill 17, which seeks to ban the sale of flavored vaping products, in the legislature. This bill received unanimous support from all parties and passed second reading in May.

This initiative was criticized by the Vaping Trade Association. She argued that the move would result in the loss of 200 jobs and the closure of dozens of small family businesses.

Since September 1st, flavored vaping products have been banned. But the icing on the cake is a real denunciation that is organized with the New Brunswick government, which invites the population to denounce the shops that continue to sell them.
