A professional certification concerning the trades of the vape? The subject has often been discussed but today it seems that it is becoming a reality. Indeed, the SI²V (Interprofessional Union of Independents of the Vape) has just announced the creation of the first Interprofessional Certification of Vape Professions which is named after CIMVAPE.

The Interprofessional Union of Independents of the Vape (SI²V) is proud to announce the creation of the first Interprofessional Certification of Trades of the Vape (the CIMVAPE).
Formalized the 7 last October on the occasion of the Vapexpo by the representatives of Si²V and Amzer Glas, the training organization directed by Jacques Le Houezec, this certification aims to officially recognize the skills of the managers and employees of independent vape shops. This is a major step for the recognition of our businesses and the skills associated with them. Ultimately, it is the end consumer and the entire professional sector who will benefit.
This certification, the dossier of which will be deposited very soon in the inventory of the National Commission for Professional Certification, is not simply a badge to display on your walls, doors or windows. This is the first step in a long process initiated by the SI²V and whose objective is to have the authorities recognize the specificity of our professions as well as our active contribution to the fight against smoking.
This specificity will soon result in obtaining for our sector a category dedicated within the French Activities Nomenclature (NAF), rather than the current one that categorizes the professions of the vape in the category absconse of "sellers of non-food products not otherwise categorized ".
The first courses delivering CIMVAPE certification will take place during the first 2019 term. They will take place in the space of 3 days and will include 3 complete modules, of which we will provide you the detail shortly. All managers and employees of shops specializing in e-cigarettes will be able to request the support of their training from their Authorized Collector Partner Organization (OPCA).
