In this mouse study, researchers from the Texas Tech University (USA) exposed mice to e-cigarette vapor and tobacco smoke. Exposure to chemicals in e-cigarettes has increased the risk of fatal blood clots that damage the brain. Vaping regularly would reduce the amount of glucose in the brain, a fuel needed to stimulate neurons. The vapors also altered circulating levels of an enzyme needed for clotting, making brain hemorrhage likely.
