E-CIGARETTE: That censorship on facebook starts!

This is not the first time that we have talked about censorship for the e-cigarette on Facebook but it seems that today an additional level has just been crossed. The facebook page of the American documentary " A Billion lives That we have already presented to you has simply been the victim of censorship by the social network.

CENSURE: THAT THE FESTIVAL BEGINS!

As explained to us " A billion lives "On the screenshot of its attached facebook page, the social network considers that their documentary is" a tobacco product "and that therefore it is not allowed to promote. Obviously, the film crew contacted Facebook for more explanation, the answer can only leave doubtful about the future of the e-cigarette on the social network:

 » Hi Aaron,

Thank you for writing to us, we are here to help you.

Your ad has been rejected because it does not meet our guidelines. Advertisements may not promote tobacco or tobacco related products including e-cigarettes [….]

Our decision is final and we will not be able to respond to future inquiries about this advertisement. »

With this decision Facebook, we now have the certainty that the pages and groups on the e-cigarette are suspended, it will be necessary to remain vigilant in the weeks and months to come because if the social network attacks documentaries on the e-cigarette, it seems clear that no one is safe from finding their suspended or deleted project.
