A few days ago, AIDUCE (Independent Association of Electronic Cigarette Users) announced its participation in two operations in Parisian hospitals in November. Yesterday is the Respadd (Addiction prevention network) and AP-HP, which published a press release announcing support for people in vulnerable situations to quit smoking.
RESPADD AND AP-HP ACCOMPANY PEOPLE WITH VULNERABILITY TO THE STOPPAGE OF TOBACCO

Thanks to a strong mobilization of tobacco and addictology professionals in Ile-de-France and an unprecedented support system, RESPADD in partnership with the Paris Public Hospital (AP-HP) intends to accompany, on all the month of November, 400 smokers in vulnerable situation and / or precarious towards the smoking cessation by the pleasure on the occasion of the Moi (s) without tobacco, a solidarity experiment supported in part by the Primary Health insurance.
Today, nearly 20 centers * in Ile-de-France have positioned themselves on two original projects specifically designed for people in fragile situations (young people, pregnant women, low-income people, people benefiting from CMU- C, drug users attending CSAPA and CAARUD…). One of the projects consists of supporting 300 smokers with delivery of free nicotine replacement treatments, the other, thanks to the participation of volunteers from the Heart Vape, is distinguished by the free delivery of substitution treatments (financed by Health Insurance) and electronic cigarettes (Heart vape) for combined care, according to the needs expressed by the participants. La Vape du cœur will intervene with participants to inform them about good electronic cigarette practices and will offer individualized monitoring to optimize the effectiveness of this combination of electronic cigarettes and conventional substitution treatment. These two projects are part of an approach to reducing the risks associated with tobacco.
