ECONOMY: After Ferrari, IQOS could sponsor Ducati in Moto GP!

A few weeks ago, we taught you same here that the Ferrari Formula 1 team was about to have a new sponsor. It seems that the tobacco company Philip Morris is quite active on this point because according to our colleagues from Motorsport.com, Ducati could welcome a logo IQOS its motorcycles very soon.

AFTER FERRARI IN FORMULA 1, IQOS SPONSOR OF DUCATI IN MOTO GP?

According to some sources, after deciding to sponsor Ferrari, the brand of heated tobacco IQOS belonging to Philip Morris could well end up on branded motorcycles Ducati during the Moto GP. Although Ducati has not been an official sponsor of Marlboro since 2010, it has a close relationship with parent company Philip Morris.

The agreement between Ducati and Philip Morris could take place in the coming weeks. The motorcycle manufacturer recently introduced their new model with gray sections that have been added to the traditional red and white design. It is highly likely that this change will be planned to accommodate the IQOS logos which are expected to appear on the factory GP18s of Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso ahead of the first round of the season in Qatar.

Philip Morris hopes that the IQOS device can get around the ban on advertising traditional tobacco products.
