To tell the truth, we stumbled upon it by chance, little information and little discussion on the subject so much Joyetech is discreet compared to its competitors, but it therefore seems that it has decided to join the race by offering theEGO-ONE, a new complete sub-ohm kit!
EGO ONE: A SUB-OHM KIT WITH A "HIGH END" AIR
Joyetech was smart about the design of theEgo one, while we thought they were a little ditched, we end up with a new product which, in the end, stands out from its direct competitors. TheEgo One is a complete kit including a battery (1100mah or 2200mah), an Ego One clearomizer (1,8ml or 2,5ml), a charger (Usb and mains), resistors (0,5 ohm and 1 ohm) as well as a User Manual. One would almost have the impression of seeing a mini “High end” set-up which is not the case with the competitors “Aspire” and “Kangertech”.
EGO ONE: A SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE AND VERSATILE CLEAROMIZER
Why be complicated when we can offer a simple and affordable product for all? Joyetech understood it well with the clearomiser of theEgo One which is offered in two versions. The first has a tank with a capacity of 1,8ml and the other with a capacity of 2,5ml which may be the small defect of this model because in sub-ohm use it may force the consumer to often fill his tank.
Joyetech However, made simple, a clearomizer in 4 parts: A drip-tip, a top-cap, the resistance and a base, neither more nor less which will allow an ease of use quite appreciable for all new vapers and not experts .
A stainless steel tank which has inside a lining either in pyrex or more probably in pmma, the base has a controllable air flow ring, there is currently no information on the number of positions available (to see in an upcoming review maybe ..) The 510 pin seems to be fixed as on the Aspire Atlantis and not adjustable.
TWO RESISTANCES: TWO CHOICES OF VAPE DIFFERENT!
Joyetech left on the choice of a sub-ohm resistance in 0,5ohm like its competitors but also on a resistance in 1 ohm which, in itself, is a very good idea. This gives us the choice between a hot and very abundant vape in 0,5 ohm or a daily and pleasant vape in 1 ohm. Clearly, everyone should find what they are looking for. In terms of design it seems that the Ego One coils are in the same type as those proposed for the Atlantis or the Subtank.
A FALSE AIR BATTERY OF MOD MECANIQUE!
Joyetech decided for the battery to go for a design close to a clean mechanical mod. Of color "steel", this simple manual battery exists in 2 different versions, first of all the simple version with a capacity of 1100mAh and the XL version which has a capacity of 2200mAh. Although we have the impression of dealing with a nice little "high end" mod, it only remains a manual battery which includes a push button with an operation similar to an Ego battery (5 clicks for setting on, 5 clicks to stop).
Last point, the top cap of the battery which has a non-adjustable 510 connector. In theory it will allow the user to be able to connect different atomizers (even with sub-ohm resistors). However, we will have to wait a while longer in order to have all the information on the product.

EDITOR'S OPINION ON JOYETECH EGO ONE
It is not easy to give an opinion on a product when we are missing certain data, but we already have some leads that allow us to have a first idea. First of all, we find that the dimensions of theEgo One make it a unique and discreet object, also it offers an alternative to the latest products from Aspire and Kangertech. The design is simple, sober and efficient which will probably appeal to the greatest number of people. Its price, if it is as indicated above, remains extremely affordable, especially the atomizer which should, in all likelihood, not exceed 15/20 euros (the cheapest on the market in sub-ohm). The first and only black point will be for the moment the capacity of the tank which will be at most 2,5ml which remains little. Now see the overall quality of the product, but if it is good, there is no doubt that the Ego One will be one of the best sellers at the start of 2015!
