UNITED STATES: 1,8 million fewer young vapers between 2019 and 2020.

Youth and vaping have been talked about often in the United States in recent years. However, the new figures presented by the " National Youth Tobacco Survey For this year 2020 could well call into question certain prejudices. Indeed, it simply appears that the number of young vapers fell by 1,8 million between 2019 and 2020.

A DROP IN THE NUMBER OF YOUNG STEAMERS!

De-credibility of the famous thesis of the gateway effect among young people? Questioning the principle of “hype” among young people through e-cigarettes? Everyone will be able to form their own idea following the publication of the new figures presented by the " National Youth Tobacco Survey For this year 2020.

This report presented jointly by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and published in the fall of 2020 show that 1,8 million young Americans fewer are currently using e-cigarettes compared to last year. In order to achieve a certain balance in these statistical results, it is specified that e-cigarette use by young people has increased significantly since 2011, and 3,6 million young people still currently use e-cigarettes.

In 2020, 19,6% of high school students (3,02 million) and 4,7% of middle school students (550000) said they had used an e-cigarette. On the graph, the curve is clearly down which suggests that the various bans and anti-vaping propaganda are having an effect on American youth. Finally, we see that 8 out of 10 young people who use an e-cigarette consumes flavored e-liquids.
