UNITED STATES: Hawaii avoids in extremis a ban on flavored vape products.

A few days ago, the US state of Hawaii probably narrowly avoided a real health disaster. Indeed, a proposal to ban flavored vaping products had been launched but was nipped in the bud by state lawmakers.

DISASTER IS AVOIDED! HAWAII'S STEAMERS CAN BLOW!

Hawaii state lawmakers recently nipped in the bud a proposal that would have banned vape devices and flavored e-liquids. The real psychosis currently hovering in the United States on the subject is leading some politicians to think that adolescents are buying vaping products on the internet despite the sales bans.

Supporters of the proposal have said a bill is needed to tackle the currently raging adolescent vaping epidemic. If this proposal had been validated, Hawaii would have become the first US state to impose such a ban.

The House Finance Committee deferred the bill by saying that the measure would not meet the deadline for moving to the House plenary. The Chairperson of the Committee, Sylvia Luke, for its part stated that it was a "really difficult problemAnd that members understood the need to curb the appeasement of adolescent girls.

In the meantime, the committee has passed another bill that increases fines for possession of e-cigarettes by minors and also increases taxes on vaping products.
