UNITED STATES: Ban on flavors for tobacco and vaping in Massachusetts

Starting today, The U.S. state of Massachusetts is ending the sale of all flavored tobacco and vaping products, including menthol.

FLAVORED TOBACCO, VAPING PRODUCTS… IT'S FORBIDDEN!

Since Monday, the State of Massachusetts in the United States has stopped the sale of all flavored tobacco and vaping products including menthol cigarettes. This ban follows a bill signed by the governor last November Charlie Baker. This bill, which ends the sale of flavored tobacco products, also taxes vaping products and increases access to drugs and advice to quit smoking.

As specified, the ban also extends to all vaping products, cigars, pipe tobacco and chewing tobacco. However, flavored tobacco products remain permitted in smoking bars where they can only be sold for on-site consumption.
