UNITED STATES: No total ban on e-cigarettes on planes!

At the beginning of the month, we announced you through one of our articles that an amendment could broaden the ban on e-cigarettes and other vape products on all flights. Yesterday, the Vapor Technology Association (VTA) has therefore announced thate the amendment was not passed and it is therefore still possible to take e-cigarette batteries in the cabin.

vtaLe Senator Blumenthal (D-CT) had proposed an amendment (SA 3547) which would broaden the list of dangerous products by adding personal vaporizers and especially by totally prohibiting them on flights (including in hand luggage). Yesterday, all the planned texts are passed, only amendment Senator Blumenthal was not defended, in part thanks to a significant mobilization.

American vapers will therefore be able to continue to carry their e-cigarettes in planes while by successfully continuing their efforts in stopping smoking.
