UNITED STATES: Judge suspends Michigan e-cigarette flavoring ban.

It is a “small” victory that vaping advocates have just obtained in the state of Michigan in the United States. On Tuesday morning, a judge temporarily blocked the ban on flavored e-liquids, a great first in a country which for weeks has openly attacked vaping.

Gretchen Whitmer - Governor of Michigan

GOVERNOR OF MICHIGAN WANTS TO APPEAL DECISION!

A few days ago, a Michigan judge decided to temporarily suspend the ban on flavored vaping products. Indeed, the judge said the ban could force adults to turn to more harmful tobacco products again. According to him, the ban would also cause irreparable harm to companies specializing in vaping.

The Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer said in a statement she would appeal the ruling, calling the judge's ruling "bogus."

« This is a misinterpretation of the law and it sets a dangerous precedent: Court questions expert judgment of public health officials facing crisis“Said Whitmer. " I plan to seek an immediate stay and go straight to the Supreme Court to request a quick and final decision. »

The actions validated in Michigan, were filed by 906 Vapor and A Clean Cigarette, a Houghton-based company with 15 locations across the state. Although the decision is temporary, it is a start of awareness in countries that have been bludgeoning vaping for months.
