STUDY: After paranoia, no link between vaping and covid-19 is found!

Several months ago, studies presented vaping and smoking as a significant risk in contamination with Covid-19 (coronavirus). After a period of doubt and paranoia that will once again have harmed e-cigarettes, a new study of 70.000 patients has found no link between vaping and Covid-19.

NO LINK BETWEEN VAPING AND COVID-19

A new study proposed by the Mayo Clinic, an American university hospital federation presents conclusions drawn from a large sample of patients (nearly 70.000). Unlike most previous research on tobacco and Covid, she sorted patients based on their current or past use of tobacco products, as well as specific products consumed (cigarette, vape, or both). In other words, the study design was almost ideal for determining whether and how nicotine consumption may lead to a high risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

And surprise, it was noted that there was no link between vaping and Covid-19. The study further indicates that current smokers have a lower risk of Covid infection than non-smokers. (Smoking still has many downsides, including a high risk of death from many causes.)

While it is not possible to rejoice too quickly at the conclusion of a single study, we can nevertheless see the frequent accusation of vaping which has been speculative to say the least.
