Can vaping make you stupid? More addictive than heroin, more dangerous than combustible cigarettes, the e-cigarette is once again the target of a study which claims that vaping would disturb memory and cloud judgment, especially among young people.

Vape is bad! Especially when the information is repeated all day long by the major health media. But the most worrying remains whether e-cigarettes can cause brain degeneration in your children. Well, according to two new American works, it seems that it is possible!
New studies published in journals Tobacco Induced Diseases et flat one, specify that the fact of using an e-cigarette would have harmful consequences for the brain, especially that of young people. Indeed, the inhaled vapor would disturb the memory and confuse the judgment ... A whole program that shivers down your spine!
The studies analyzed more than 18 responses from middle and high school students to the National Youth Tobacco Survey and more than 886 responses from American adults to the telephone survey of Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. In both cases, the questions addressed smoking and vaping habits as well as problems with memory, attention and mental acuity. Participants who started vaping between the ages of 8 and 13 seemed to have even more trouble concentrating, making decisions or remembering things than those who started vaping later.
"Our studies add to growing evidence that e-cigarettes should not be considered a safe alternative to smoking", comments the main author, Dongmei li, associate professor at the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences of University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC).
"With the recent increase in the number of teens who are vaping, this is very concerning and suggests that we need to intervene even sooner., concludes Dongmei Li. Prevention programs that start in middle or high school might actually come too late.".
