The consistency of nicotine delivery from the atomizers was similar to that of nicotine inhalers and conventional cigarettes within acceptable ranges for medicinal nebulizers.
Le Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos, lead author of this study stated that « Since consistency in the delivery of nicotine with e-cigarettes is required by the European tobacco directive, I believe that the protocol proposed in this study is feasible and reliable, it could be used for regulatory purposes.
