No respite for the defense of vaping! The year 2016 has just started and Fivape is offering its first press release. We offer it to you in full.
"Anticipating and defending the interests of free vaping in a particularly uncertain regulatory and political environment is the major challenge for Fivape for this new year, where our sector faces an imminent peril: the effective transposition of article 20 of the Tobacco Products Directive.
Scheduled across Europe, the directive throws up many gray areas, while the deadline for transposition is set at May 2016. With thousands of jobs and serving more than 10 million users in Europe , our young sector and its independent professionals are facing an ubiquitous situation, the responsibility of which lies with the carelessness of the public authorities, their lack of consideration of the risk reduction factor, and the unsuitability of the "Tobacco Products Directive" for vaping products.
In this difficult context, while the number of vapers continues to grow, the Fivape has more than ever needed all the energy of its members. In 2016, thanks to the support of independent professionals who have chosen to join forces, Fivape will make every effort to overcome these challenges, in order to maintain and consolidate the hard won victories in our society by the revolution of the vape.
To inform about his projects and take stock, Fivape invites all professionals in the sector, members or not, to a great day of information on the European directive, Sunday 7 February 2016 in Paris.

Despite the threats, Fivape and all of its members firmly believe in the future of the vaping industry in France.
