Can rising tobacco prices really be used in the fight against smoking? Well, according to the latest figures from Seita, it seems so.
A DROP OF 19% OF DELIVERIES!
According to Seita estimates, rising tobacco prices have led to lower sales, reports Les Echos. In March, while the price of a packet increased by one euro on average and two euros for hand-rolled tobacco, deliveries to retailers fell by 19%.
The drop in sales had already started in February and is expected to continue, while the package 10 euros is announced for 2020.
