In a press conference held on Tuesday, users of electronic cigarettes denounced the action of the government, which is considering banning vaping like tobacco in closed public spaces.
According to a new bill, vapers will have the same treatment as smokers.
The Greek association that represents vapers denounced the fact that the preparation of the government bill is carried out without prior consultation with researchers, scientists, former smokers and e-cigarette users.
For vapers, the new law no longer offers the right to avoid cigarette smoke and forces them to group with smokers.
During the press conference, they also presented an open letter to the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and a letter of support signed by vaping associations from 16 European countries. In addition, a medical expert also presented the latest research regarding the use of e-cigarettes in order to denounce this law.
