While the very first edition of the Vape Expo India was to take place tomorrow and after tomorrow, everything had to be canceled because of the authorities of the country. Although this international e-cigarette exhibition was originally planned to be held in New Delhi, the government has clearly refused to allow the Vape Expo India to be held in the capital.
The organizers therefore found an alternative solution so that the event could take place, but a few days before the opening, it was the authorities of Greater Noida who refused to host the exhibition. In a letter, the director of health, Padmakar Singh, said the event violated sections 4 and 5 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act 2003, as well as provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act 2015, the Drugs Act and the cosmetics from 1940 and various sections of the Indian penal code.
