- First of all, who is Atmizoo?
The Atmizone team is: Dimitri (Jimmy), Manos and me (Tasos).
- What relationship is there between you? Are you from the same family, longtime friends?
Manos is my brother and Dimitri is a long time friend !! Ah ah ah! For the record, we played in the same rock band a few years ago now 😉
- What is your experience with Vapers?
Jimmy started vaping 4 years ago in an effort to quit smoking. He got there very quickly with the help of a friend who was already a vapers and some research on the net. For me, Jimmy was the trigger! He made me vape during a jam session with the band we were playing. After the initial surprise (I thought at first it was just a cool thing), the e-cigarette really started to intrigue me. I was mainly interested in the design of devices and the culture of the vape. When Atmizone was born, Manos did some freelance work for the creation of the website. After getting more and more involved, he had more interesting things to do than the site. The vape was a big surprise for him. He took an interest in the technical side of the thing and after a few months he was completely part of the team.
- Why would you want to create your own mods?
Once fully immersed in the vape culture and having a look at all devices at that point, we all concluded the same thing: everyday mods needed to be simple in style and practicality, everything by being elegant and versatile. This was obviously not the case with the mods available at the time of our project.
As a civil engineer and interior designer, I thought I could incorporate some of the principles I used when designing buildings or spaces to those of a mod. Minimalist design has always been important to me.
Jimmy has worked in the industry as an electrical engineer for quite a few years. He was also surprised to see some ideas from his field being applied to vape devices, but also to note that some major principles of electricity were not respected during the design and operation of the mods.
This was also the case with Manos, who was also an electrical engineer. Manos felt that the general approach of the mods at that time was not complete, lacked respect for the fundamental characteristics that a device on the market should have.
- Why the name Atmizoo? Does it have a special meaning?
Atmizoo is the alliance of the Greek verb Atmizo, which means "Vaper", and the word Zoo. We are committed to naming our projects with intriguing animal names.
- How much time has passed between the idea of making your mods and the creation of your business?
It was 4 months of long discussions between Dimitris and me until we were convinced. Then, for a month, we spent every day finalizing the details of our project by integrating Manos to the team.
- How long does it take from the idea of a mod to its final production?
It is completely subjective! Months can go by for a project, with phases of conception, design, testing of prototypes, etc ... which, for some, never reach the production phase for several reasons, such as an excessively high production cost depending on the efficiency / price factor, or a lack of performance, and so on ...
There are others that work very quickly and arrive quickly in production. Whether the story is long or small, from a few months to many, for any project, we put the same rigor, the same heart to the work, even for projects that vapers will never have the opportunity to try ...
- Do you have plans for the future? What are they ?
Atmizone is currently focusing on finalizing some ideas on a range of atomizers. We do not like the idea of not having a RBA yet.
However, it is our policy to only present projects that bring unique and new ideas, so that there can be no doubt about acquiring it. We will not present an umpteenth copy of a concept or something that works just right ...

Lab : We did not find a match, but it probably means the English diminutive for "laboratory".
