- What kind of equipment do you use?
Mecha mods, mainly in 18650. Elvish Scribe by Sebastien Lavergne, Gus, GP paps, and many others.
For atos it's very wide… Drippers… The list is long… Kayfun 4, Taifun, Orchid, AquaV2, Héron, OGV2… There are a lot of them, I slide easily.
And then I discovered Flash e-vapor thanks to Guillaume Bally, since it is my favorite ato. A rendering and simplicity of a dripper but with a 5ml tank that can be filled directly from the bottle.
- You have created your own liquids. The MEWPs (5 in Breton). Why this name?
PemP means 5 in the Breton language, PemP is 5 juices in 5 mg, 50/50 Pg / vg and 15 ml… Everything revolves around the 5.
Why only 5 mg of nicotine? Because that's what I found most satisfying in terms of hit / flavor balance. (Except power vaping)
Why in 15 ml? Because 10 ml is too tight, the container / content ratio is neither economical nor ecological in terms of waste production.
I live in a Breton environment, “Pemp” is one of the words I use in Breton, liquids are created and manufactured in Carentec, I wanted to assert this identity with a name in Breton, simple and meaningful.
PemP has become obvious.
- You aretes musician (composer and interpreter). Does this affect the creation of your e-liquids (or the reverse for that matter)?
Certainly… A beautiful sound is rich in harmonics, it is similar for the taste. I think our senses are linked, I conceive of the assembly of aromas as a musical chord, it has to sound good, no matter the style, what matters is the consistency of the assembly and the "taste harmonics" that he releases.
Then each one will adhere to one or more musical universes in particular. We are receptive to certain styles of music rather than others, such as flavors. Music is a way of expressing oneself, of communicating together. Creating new music is exhilarating, it doesn't mean that it will become a hit, it's another story that no longer really belongs to its creator. What we do should remain the expression of who we are and what we want to share with others. PemPs are very distinctive, very characteristic, they are unlike any other juice and they are very different from each other.
- Do you plan to expand the range?
Of course, but everything will depend on the success of the PemP over time. I want to go further, to use less well-known aromas, to find surprising combinations of flavors.
- What do you think about PDT ? and of all the stirring house legislative relating to vaping?
