ISRAEL: A total ban on the “Juul” e-cigarette confirmed!

A few days ago we announced to you same here the intention of Israeli territory to ban the famous e-cigarette " Juul". After final approval from the country's attorney general, the prime minister signed a warrant to end all imports and sales of Juul.


JUUL, "A SERIOUS DANGER FOR THE PUBLIC"


After being put on the Israeli market last May, the Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu who has also served as Minister of Health since the end of 2017, has adopted a total ban on the e-cigarette Juul.

The government invoked a " serious danger to the public »Justifying the ban on sales of the product. Indeed, the Juul cigarette contains 59 milligrams of nicotine for each milliliter of e-liquid, a level well above the 20 milligrams on average of other brands sold on the market.

Already prohibited by the Deputy Minister of Health, Yaakov Litzman, this decision required final approval from the country's attorney general, something she obtained two days ago. 

Prime Minister has signed a mandate to put an end to all imports and sales of Juul, the ban will come into force on 3 next September.
