LITTLE LUNGS: FDA anti-smoking campaign in animated spots

Let's go together to discover “Little Lungs”, a tragicomic anti-smoking campaign that tells the story of the misadventures of a pair of lungs whose growth was aborted because of smoking. The series of animated spots is signed FCB New-York.

ANTI-TOBACCO CAMPAIGN ON FDA'S ACCOUNT

As part of its anti-smoking campaign The Real Cost For the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), FCB New York unveils a series of stop-motion spots called " Little Lungs ". The campaign is based on a very simple insight: you are a teenager and are growing, just like your lungs. If you smoke, they may become atrophied and prevent you from enjoying the same activities as your peers. The 4 movies aim to target teens on YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram.

In addition, the effort focuses particularly on at-risk adolescents who suffer the vagaries of a more chaotic lifestyle (access to education, lower socioeconomic level, etc.) and may be subject to a higher stress rate. .

« If the character 'Little Lungs' lacks breathing capacity, he catches up with 'love' and skillfully delivers his message (...) to teenagers by engaging them in a very entertaining animated content. Says Ari Halper, Chief Creative Officer at FCB New York.

Far from shock awareness campaigns and the lesson in guilt-ridden morality, the operation creatively bypasses the difficulty of targeting a young and over-requested audience. She reminds us of the campaign " Dumbs Ways to Die "To McCann Melbourne. Your turn to judge !
