CUBIS OF JOYETECH: PRESENTATION AND PACKAGING
The " cubes By Joyetech comes in a rigid cardboard box. Inside, we will find the atomizer " cubes "with a pre-installed BF SS316 L resistor at 0,5 ohm, 2 other resistors (1 ohm and 1,5 ohms), a pyrex drip-tip, a manual and a warranty card. In terms of technical characteristics, this one is 60 mm long for 22,20 mm of diameter and a weight of 52 grams. The Cubis tank is pyrex and has a capacity of 3,5 ml which is ok without being huge either. The " cubes "Has a standard non-adjustable 510 screw thread.
CUBIS: AN ORIGINAL DESIGN AND SEVERAL COLORS TO CHOICE

The particularity of the “Cubis” clearly lies in the fact that the air-flow ring is on the top-cap, so we have the impression that the e-liquid really comes flush with the mod that hosts it. We will find the inscriptions " cubes "And" Joyetech "discreetly placed on the model but above all an inscription" Max "which delimits the filling zone of the atomizer (note that on the black model, this is not visible!). Entirely in Stainless Steel and Pyrex, the " cubes Is very well designed, it will be completely removable and easy to clean. CUBIS: A REALLY NEW SYSTEM INGENIOUS
If one may wonder what the cubes proposes again, the answer is presented very quickly to the dismantling of this one. With this new model from Joyetech, we discover a resistance installed on the Top-cap of the atomizer which is really ingenious. The whole point of this system lies in the ease of filling the tank, so all you have to do is remove the Top-Cap and insert the e-liquid up to the area delimited by the “Max” inscription. In a way, Joyetech has removed all the worries of leaks from previous models thanks to this new system. It will also be very easy to change the resistance without having to empty the e-liquid in the tank.
CUBIS: AN AIR-FLOW SYSTEM SIMILAR TO THE TRON ATOMIZER
With the atomizer " cubes“, Joyetech has decided not to backtrack and to stay on the same system already used on its“ Tron ”atomizer. The air-flow ring is therefore completely invisible hidden under a frame but is this time on the top-cap. Unlike the air-flow ring of the "Tron", that of the " cubes »Manages the air supply much better, offering us the possibility of a tight or airy vape. In addition, thanks to its positioning, we will not find the problems of leaks that we can have on other models when the battery is low or the resistance is at the end of its life.
CUBIS: EFFICIENT BUT PERFECTIBLE RESISTANCES!
With his atomizer cubes“, Joyetech offers 3 types of resistors including the famous "Stainless Steel" which are therefore in stainless steel and offer a very good restitution of flavors as well as a good density of vapor. To be honest, these resistances are the only ones to have really amazed us with the “Cubis”.
- Resistors BF SS316 L (0,5 Ohm) : These stainless steel resistors work with the temperature control. They can be used with a specific mode and do not work with Titanium or Ni-200 mode. Usable between 15 and 30 watts, they are for us the reference on this atomizer!
- Resistors BF SS316 L (1 Ohm) : These stainless steel resistors work with temperature control. They can be used with a specific mode and do not work with the Titanium or Ni-200 mode. Usable between 10 and 25 watts, they work well even if the rendering is less impressive than those at 0,5 Ohm.
- Clapton Resistors (1,5 Ohm) : Khantal resistors mounted in Clapton which can only be used in "Variable Power" mode. Usable between 8 to 20 watts, they are for our part a little disappointing in terms of rendering.
Overall, we were satisfied with the performance of the resistors proposed with the " cubes »Nevertheless some faults appear quite quickly, first of all, the resistors may be poorly supplied with e-liquid which will require you to reboot them (which can be quite annoying). Then during filling, the "Cubis" may take a little time to start up again. Joyetech has made a lot of progress but resistances can still be improved, an improvement in the e-liquid supply slots would be appreciable.
CUBIS: WHAT TO USE MY JOYETECH CUBIS WITH
The " cubes»Has a diameter of 22,20 mm . It will install perfectly on most mechanical mods and box mods aesthetically (On the new box "Cuboid" Especially). Obviously, if you want to use sub-ohm resistors you will need hardware that supports at least 0,5 ohm resistors. Do not forget, however, that by using sub-ohm resistors you will need suitable batteries (ex: Efest Purple). If you are not familiar with this type of material or do not know it, do not use it. In all cases, we advise you to check the value of your resistors before use with your mod or your ohmmeter.

We have generally appreciated this new atomizer " cubes »Which offers some innovative and really pleasant functions. If Joyetech could have come close to excellence with this model, certain errors do not allow us to give it the maximum rating. The e-liquid supply slots are not sufficient on the resistors offered which frequently forces us to reboot the system, it is a black point that turns out to be particularly annoying. Nevertheless, despite some errors, we can say that the " cubes »Remains a good atomizer sold at a very good price and that Joyetech is once again in progress compared to the Ego One and the Tron.
