REVIEW: THE COMPLETE "SUBTANK NANO" TEST

We proposed to you a few weeks ago already, the complete review of Subtank ”From Kangertech, and besides we were convinced that a“ mini ”version would be offered. It was not missing but it is not one, but two other versions that Kangertech has launched on the market. While waiting for the "mini" test, today we are offering you the " Subtank nano "Which was graciously provided by the partner store" Jefumelibre.fr". So what does it offer new, compared to the first model? Have the defects of the "Subtank", the first of the name, been corrected? In order not to change our formula, you will be entitled to a complete review in video and also to the writing on this article.

KANGER'S “SUBTANK NANO”: PRESENTATION AND PACKAGING

The " Subtank nano "Is a latest generation clearomizer supporting" sub-ohm "resistors, this one has a diameter of 18.5 mm and offers a reservoir of 3 ml. Like its big brother, the "Subtank nano" is presented in a strong cardboard box and well stocked so that your atomizer and its spare parts are properly protected. As often with Kanger, a scratch-off label is present to allow you to verify the authenticity of your product. The "Subtank nano" pack includes your clearomiser with a 0,5 ohm resistor installed, a 1,2 ohm resistor, a 510 drip tip, a pyrex, replacement seals, and a French manual.

A "SUBTANK" DESIGN BUT VERY SMALL! IN NANO WHAT ...

Nano means "dwarf" in Greek, which allows us to quickly understand what we are talking about. The "Subtank Nano" is a miniature atomizer (barely bigger than a mini protank), apart from that, its design is rather similar to the original "Subtank", it is made of stainless steel and has a pyrex tank. The red silicon seals give it a slightly more colorful feel. Its design and small size will make it the ideal companion for all the small mod boxes on the market.

WITH THE NANO, KANGER OFFERS A SUBTANK WITH SEVERAL IMPROVEMENTS!

You would think that Kangertech just made a smaller version of their “Subtank”, when in reality they did more than that! Kangertech has taken note of the feedback on its first atomizer of the name and has therefore improved its two new versions. For the “Nano Subtank” we will find a structure inside the tank which will surround the resistance and block it, which will have the effect of avoiding the recurring leakage problems which were present on the first version. The silicon gaskets have been redesigned and placed in a more ergonomic way to avoid seepage as much as possible. Finally, the air-flow ring which has 3 positions has been reworked, the holes are now inside the ring, which prevents e-liquid flowing on the battery in the event of a leak. (For my part I had no problem with leaks.)

SUBTANK NANO: A SIMPLE SUB-OHM CLEAROMIZER

For this model, Kangertech did not wish to offer a basic "Rba" included which, in the end, is not worse. This clearomizer will therefore be primarily intended for beginners and people who want good performance without rebuilding anything. The 0,5 ohm coils will bring you a warm / hot, tasty and rather airy vape (depending on the air-flow position you choose). For 1,2 ohm resistors, we will only advise their use as a last resort if you really do not have the suitable material for the sub-ohm. Even if the " Subtank Nano "Offers a good compromise steam / flavor, it will still be less impressive than on the original model. In order to know how to use each of its resistances, you just have to look on it or on the instructions.

WHAT TO USE YOUR "SUBTANK NANO" CLEAROMIZER WITH

The good thing about this new model is that its size (18,5mm) will allow you to install it on just about any mod box on the market without it spilling out, something that was a real problem with the subtank first of the name. It will also work great on a mechanical mod although its size might not make it very aesthetic. Obviously, if you want to use sub-ohm resistors you will need hardware that supports at least 0,5 ohm resistors. Do not forget, however, that using sub-ohm resistors will require suitable batteries (ex: Efest Purple). If you do not have hardware supporting the sub-ohm and it does not interest you, you can also use the subtank nano with its resistors in 1,2 ohm.

- Its size and diameter of 18,5 mm which make it a clearomizer that goes everywhere.
- Its ease of use that will appeal to both beginners and experts.
- Improvements made by Kanger (Anti-leakage structure, air-flow ring, ergonomic joints ...)
- Its reservoir of good capacity (3ml) which remains imposing despite the size of the clearomiser. Ease of filling.

THE NEGATIVE POINTS OF KANGER SUBTANK NANO

- The size of the "Nano" causes a less dense vapor rendering than with the normal "Subtank".
- It's hard to find other negative points because Kanger has reworked his product.

EDITOR'S ADVICE FOR USING KANGER'S "SUBTANK NANO"

Remember that the Subtank Nano uses Sub-ohm resistors, so you will need suitable batteries in order to vape safely (if you do not know, do not hesitate to ask!)
- We advise you to have bigger clouds to use e-liquids 100% VG
- If you are vaping at 0,5 ohm, the hit will be much more present, we advise you to lower your nicotine level so as not to have a too powerful hit.
- For a longer life of your resistors, remember to stay between 20 and 30 watts which will be more than enough to have a vape at the top!

THE VAPOTEURS.NET EDITOR'S OPINION

This “Subtank Nano” is really a good surprise to such an extent that we had trouble finding fault with it. If you are looking for a simple and powerful clearomizer whether it is to get started in the vape or to have a good vapor / flavor ratio without taking your head, the "Subtank Nano" is for you. Kangertech took the time to correct the faults of the previous model and that is very appreciable. Report / quality / price it is in our opinion difficult to find better now.

Our partner Jefumelibre.fr offers you the " Subtank NanoFrom Kanger to 29,90 Euros.
