The subject has been controversial for many months and even non-smokers have necessarily heard of the "puff", this small disposable e-cigarette that is a real hit. A priori prized by young people, it is now the priority target of many anti-tobacco policies and associations.
In this context, the French Senate voted a few days ago an amendment to tax these disposable e-cigarettes up to 6 euros per milliliter. If the probability that this amendment will pass in the draft Social Security budget remains small, the danger of a high tax on vape products is getting closer and closer.
