THE GUIDE FOR A RESPECTFUL PUFF IN COLLABORATION WITH VYPE
With around 2 million vapers in the UK, e-cigarettes have become a real social phenomenon, but in a recent survey, more than a third of them admitted not knowing or using their vapers. A similar proportion of non-vapers would complain about a lack of "decency" on the part of vapers.
And it is after this that Debrett's, a British authority offering courses, advice, and books decided to produce a courtesy guide of the vaper in collaboration with the firm of Cigalike " Vype". According to this famous guide, vapers should comply with certain rules of "savoir vivre" such as:
- Ask permission from surrounding people before vaping
- Never vape in a confined space
- Never vape in a restaurant
- Never vape during a chat or an interview
- Never vape in a queue
- Never vape in public transport
- Never vape while someone is cooking
- Never vape in a bed.
Debrett's “experts” also believe that a “respectful” puff is to never blow the vapor on a person's face.
For the use of the electronic cigarette at work it would be necessary: " Be in moderation. You wouldn't want your boss to think you're more interested in your e-cigarette than the email you just received". If vaping is a recent social effect, it must face the code " good manners"
To Katherine Lewis from Debrett's: " Vape is a relatively modern phenomenon and the rules must be put in place. It is not difficult to be a vaper and respectful, you just have to be courteous and ask for permission before engaging in any behavior that might affect those around you.«
