UK parliamentarians have decided to launch a thorough investigation into the risks and benefits of e-cigarettes in the UK.

This investigation, which could disturb the professionals of the vape, was welcomed by the leaders of two big manufacturers in East Lancashire in the United Kingdom.
Liam Humberstone de Totally Wicked et Matthew Moden de Liberty Flights said they hoped the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee would provide clarification on the science around vaping. According to them the deputies should take into account several expert reports which show that electronic cigarettes are safer than conventional cigarettes.

During this survey the deputies will examine the effectiveness of e-cigarettes as a tool for smoking cessation as well as the impact of their use on health. It is important to remember that in the United Kingdom, nearly three million people use electronic cigarettes, a figure four times higher than in 2012.
Mr Moden, Managing Director of Liberty Flights, which employs 100 workers at its Arkwright Court base, said: “ Everyone involved 
in the manufacture or use of electronic cigarettes should welcome this inquiry. Studies which show that they are 95% less harmful to health than cigarettes should be taken into account"
Mr. Humberstone, technical director of Totally Wicked hopes that " this will confirm the positive impact of vaping on health and take into account the many reports showing that e-cigarettes are much safer than tobacco. »
It remains to be seen what will really emerge from this large-scale survey. If the result is positive for vaping this could have significant repercussions worldwide.
