In an exclusive interview of Parisian-Today in France, the new Minister of Health, Agnès Buzyn smoking in France as well as the electronic cigarette which she says " does not allow you to stop smoking completely"

Regarding smoking, if the new Minister of Health feels ready to launch a real fight, it will probably not be done with electronic cigarettes. In an interview published today, she states that “ smoking is a real disease " and " that it is a public health imperative But when comes a question about a possible promotion of vaping Agnès Buzyn seems pretty clear:
« Currently, there is little scientific evidence to consider it an effective tool. Vaping can reduce consumption, but not completely stopping smoking. However, this is what matters in preventing cancer and cardiovascular disease. We will therefore not revisit the ban on vaping implemented on October 1 in certain public places.."
If the vapers and vape market players were waiting for the new health minister's point of view, they now know that all the work that could have been done with Marisol Touraine will be done over the next five years.
