The Ministries of Health and Budget are finalizing the three-year price increase scenario to bring the price of cigarettes to 10 euros at the end of 2020. After the 2018 increase, the increases will be more gradual over the last two years.

The price of cigarettes will increase by 1 euro next year. According to several government sources, the Ministries of Health and Budget are working on the scenario of an increase in tobacco taxation pushing an increase in prices 1 euro 2018.
