The embassy recalls that indeed " Under Thai law the import, use, storage and possession of electronic cigarettes is prohibited in the territory ". Violation of this legislation carries a maximum fine of 1 million Baht and / or up to ten years' imprisonment.
The diplomatic mission states that " In this context, the Russian Embassy strongly recommends that its nationals avoid importing, transporting or using e-cigarettes in Thailand. ».
