It was time for the numbers to fall! It had been a while since we had heard from the OFDT and the usual figures from the tobacco scorecard. Well here is the February report who actually arrives late but seeing the figures announced we understand why!

OFDT: PROOF THAT THE POLICY TO FIGHT SMOKING DOES NOT WORK!
Looking at the curves and figures announced by the OFDT for the month of February, we quickly understand that 2016 is off to a very bad start for the fight against smoking. A variation in cigarette sales of + 6.7% between February 2015 and February 2016, an augmentation of 11,1% of roll-your-own tobacco sales between February 2015 and February 2016 proof that the government's organized tobacco control policy is not working. Everything is clear on the cigarette sales table! If in previous years we could note a decline in sales in February, this is not the case this year! Why ? It is probably time to ask the question and act in the interest of public health.
