UNITED STATES: The e-cigarette laws written by Big Tobacco.

In the United States, tobacco companies have won their fight in at least 19 states that previously protected e-cigarettes from anti-smoking programs and taxes.

By law it is at least 11 states who have almost textually used a model of law written by Reynolds American Inc., group that also sells e-cigarettes. Here is an excerpt from the Reynolds model that was obtained by the Center for Public Integrity, as well as extracts corresponding to state laws that prohibit all sales of electronic cigarettes to minors.
