ISRAEL: POLICE INVESTIGATED AT THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRUPTION AT THE MINISTRY


For more than a year, the police conducted an undercover investigation into suspected corruption within the Ministry of Health. The investigation launched following a Hadashot report in January 2017 in which an undercover journalist was able to arrange a meeting with then-health minister Yaakov Litzman to seek legislative support to promote a fictitious electronic cigarette company by paying thousands of shekels in cash to an intermediary.
