CANADA: A LOWER NUMBER OF CIGARETTE SMOKERS IN QUEBEC


The results of the vast Quebec Population Health Survey 2014-2015 reveal that the use of tobacco is down 5% among Quebecers. More specifically, according to the Institut de la statistique du Québec, 19% of the population over 15 years of age regularly smoke cigarettes. FRANCE: PRESS RELEASE BY M.TOURAINE FOR THE “TOBACCO-FREE MONTH”


Marisol Touraine, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, today launches the first phase of "Me (s) without tobacco", a national operation of a new kind to fight against smoking.
