8 MILLION DOLLARS TO STUDY THE E-CIGARETTE |
$ 8,8 million is the amount that researchers at the University of Waterloo received as a grant from the National Cancer Institute of the United States to assess the public health impact of government policies aimed at to regulate tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and other vaporized nicotine products. MOFFIT CANCER CENTER LAUNCHES E-CIGARETTE STUDY |
Researchers from the Moffit Cancer Center will study the long-term impact of the e-cigarette compared to that of tobacco on a panel of 2500 people in a 2-year window. The project called "Ease" (E-Cigarette And Cigarette Evaluation) should allow to know a little more about the use of the e-cigarette in the long term. (See article)

A 40% TAX ON E-CIGARETTES IN PENNSYLVANIA! |
A law which has not yet been promulgated has nevertheless just been approved in the State of Pennsylvania. it introduces a 40% tax on the pre-tax price of e-cigarettes, as well as a tax for the day of promulgation, which will impose on distributors / resellers / manufacturers 40% for everything already in stock (See article)
