PORTUGAL: A REDUCTION IN THE E-CIGARETTE TAX
While vaping with nicotine will be subject to the same bans as smoking in public places, the tax on nicotine liquids in Portugal is halved in 2017. It drops to 30 cents per milliliter of nicotine liquid instead of 60 cents per ml. This tax was introduced last year in the name of respect for competitive “parity” between cigarettes and vaping.
