GERMANY: PHILIP MORRIS INVESTS 320 MILLION DOLLARS IN A PLANT FOR IQOS


The American cigarette maker Philip Morris announced Monday the construction of a heated tobacco factory (IQOS) for some 320 million dollars (286 million euros). It will be located in the Saxony region, which is home to a cluster of new technology companies called “Silicon Saxony” near Dresden. (See article)
