The Molinari Economic Institute has just published the second edition of its indicator of moralizing states in the European Union. This indicator focuses on prohibitions related to food, alcohol and tobacco in the broad sense. In short, we measure here to what extent the State "wants you good" by regulatory inflation in favor of dissuading the consumption of legal products and imposing an additional cost on consumers.
