FRANCE: TO STOP VAPING AS HARD AS TO STOP SMOKING?


 The e-cigarette (better name than electronic cigarette) removes the exposure to hazardous substances produced by heating or burning tobacco because it simply does not contain tobacco. Tars, simplifying, are at the origin of many cancers, the best known, that of the lung. Carbon monoxide (CO) is a gas that causes cardiovascular disease (the best known is myocardial infarction). SCOTLAND: INVESTMENT OF £ 150 TO PROVIDE E-CIGARETTE KITS TO INMATES

The price of certain packs of cigarettes increases by 20 to 30 cents on January 1. The average price remains stable at 7,90 euros for 20 cigarettes. The government has planned a series of successive increases to reach, by November 2020, a price of 10 euros per pack of 20 cigarettes. (See article)
