ISRAEL: TAX INCREASE AND RESTRICTIONS ON E-CIGARETTE?
Israel's director of public health, Professor Itamar Grotto, submitted to the Knesset last year a list of measures aimed at reducing the number of citizens stricken by second-hand smoke. "These are points on which the Ministry of Health wishes to move forward, such as increasing taxes on electronic cigarettes, limiting tobacco advertising in the media, and expanding non-smoking areas" , Grotto said.
