According to IFI Claims, in 2017, the advanced technology which had the best growth in number of patents filed in the United States, was the electronic cigarette, with an increase of more than 45% in just one year. The electronic cigarette is therefore found on the podium followed by 3D printing (which the vaping market is using more and more).
For information, it is the giant IBM which for the 25th consecutive year (from 1993 to 2017) is at the top of the list of patents deposited in the United States with the USPTO.
